Web Development at Worldgate

Today’s entry is from a consultant who is doing web development for Worldgate, llc.

As a front-end web developer for Worldgate’s client, I have the opportunity to work closely with a core group of extremely talented and dedicated individuals.  As new challenges present themselves, I am constantly amazed by the technical and creative solutions our team responds to them with.  There is always an opportunity to explore a new web technology, and to contribute my ideas and suggestions to the task at hand.

Working on a wide range of tasks, from daily updates to long-term projects, keeps my day fresh and exciting.  Designing a new icon for an application, or touching up images from a recent photo shoot, allows me a chance to put my graphic design and digital illustrator skills to use.  Training a teacher to maintain their school’s website, or updating the news on the client’s homepage enhances my skills as a web developer.  This position has given me the opportunity to put my creative and technical training to the test, and the confidence to do so.
